To be a serious
player in the turbine maintenance industry, you
must have a reliable source of quality cast and
manufactured components. Relying on OEM.
sources of hot section blading, and nozzles
restricts your options to find the most cost
effective parts for the customer, and puts
everyone at the mercy of potentially lengthy
delivery times. We are very proud to
present our availability of custom cast
components, using leading edge alloys of equal or
superior performance to, original
specifications. To effectively and fully
support our customers who operate older turbine
units, we can provide practically any engine
component. This service has greatly
extended the cost effective service life of
several aeroderivitive models that were abandoned
by the OEMs. We are currently offering the
only directionally solidified and single crystal
turbine blading commercially available in Canada
for the Rolls Royce Avon, and General Electric
LM-1500 product lines.
Examples of components cast for customers
include; fuel injection nozzle bodies, variable
stator vane ram mounts, combustor inlet scoops,
and of course, turbine blades, and nozzle guide
vanes. We can cast in many alloys such as
Rene-80, Inconel 738, X-40, and the full Cannon
Muskegon alloy line including the current DS. and
single crystal alloys such as CM-186LC, and
CMSX-4.
We have an engineering staff on hand to custom
design hot section components for your older
turbine engine to upgrade the output, or increase
cycle efficiencies. We specialize in the
redesign of hot section components that are
currently experiencing short service life.
Through better cooling techniques, and casting in
superior alloys, we have redesigned and produced
components that have a much greater service life,
again keeping an engine line cost effective when
the customer was having to consider replacement
horsepower. Please contact us for more
information regarding our casting services, or to
initiate a design evaluation of your engine's
unique requirements.
